I've done business with Z1 one time. I was returning from New York to South Florida after buying my Z, which was in dire need of a new exhaust. I stopped in ATL to visit a friend, and gave Z1 a call.. John answered the phone and discussed my situation. As a manager and in retail, I feel I can tell the difference between being rude and being busy.. By no means am I saying other's can't do this, but I will say that John sounded busy, which could've been taken as a bit rude... Once I arrived, I saw why. On a late Saturday afternoon, they WERE super busy. 4 car's waiting for work, phones ringing constantly, and people waiting to pick up parts.. I was 5th car in line to get the cat-back put on. I waited with a friend patiently, looked around, and tried to stay out of the way.. Once things slowed down, I got to meet some of the nicest Z guys yet. EVERYONE I met at Z1, from the other customers to the staff, were all great. I dealt mostly with John, who I wouln't hesitate to do business with again. He took the time (1 hour after closing) to show me and my buddy around, showed us some of their projects, etc. They also made us feel at home, showing lots of interest in my completely stock 90 NA (the miles were incredibly low, but still, its a stock NA)...
I guess to sum it up, some people have bad days, some people get super busy, and I know from experience, the 100th time you answer the phone in the day isn't going to be as chipper as the 1st or 2nd. I know it doesn't make it right, but we should always consider all the options.. In my experience John and Z1 were great people who enjoy helping others... try not to let one phone call turn you off... thats my 2 cents, feel free to get change back if you'd like :) -"Bert"
